Sangroids

I've heard this self-description bandied about with regards to blood-fetishists. Sounds like a nasty disease but the "sang" part is the Latin prefix for blood (I think) so I guess it makes sense. Hemoids or hemo-oids just doesn't have the same ring to it. Anyone else hear of "the sangroids"?

    Doesn't Sangre mean the color red? Then there's always "sanguine" and "sanguinaria" Hmmm.

      Sangroid = (n.) a sect of druids, crapped in the 1972 classic Invasion of the Blood Farmers.

      sangre = Spanish for blood
